JB3 Investments is a premier online finance blog owned and operated by Jerold (JB) Larson. I (Jb) have had an interest in the stock market since my first time seeing Michael Douglas's Wall Street. Gordon Gecko had me sold on the idea of becoming a stock market trader.
My grandfather opened a custodial account for me when I was in the 7th grade. I couldn't believe I could trade on the stock market, I had roughly $500/$600; so I bought one share of Apple (In 2016 I wouldn't buy Apple). I got bored with Apple and sold it to pursue faster returns through day trading. I'll write up a more detailed market history in the future. I was extremely successful day trading; then I lost most of it and quit. My freshman year of highschool I brought an account worth $2000 to over $3000. My freshman year of college I withdrew $800 and closed my account. |
